Mr. David W. Fuller

David Fuller is a seasoned executive in business and economic develop me nt, strategic planning, high technology manufacturing, international business, and marketing. He has been in senior leadership positions with Fortune 100 and 500 firms, owned a small business, and founded three non-profit organizations prior to joining Virginia 's Depart me nt of Business Assistance.

He has extensive economic and social develop me nt experience in regional public education, public safety, govern me nt affairs, comprehensive planning, and social services. He is a Trustee of Virginia's Philpott Manufacturing Extension Partnership and serves on the Board of the Virginia Forest Based Economic Develop me nt Council and Virginia Police Chief's Foundation.

He serves on the boards of several regional councils and local agencies, including the Hanover County Social Services Board, and is the regional head in Virginia of NC State University's alumni and scholarship recruiting. He served on the Virginia Senate Commission for Excellence and Accountability in Education. He also serves as an Examiner for the US Senate Productivity and Quality Award and is a me mber of the Northern Virginia Economic Develop me nt Coalition.

Dave and his wife Judy have three children. They live in Hanover where he is Vice President of his Rotary Club and is an Elder and Treasurer of his church.

He earned an MBA from University of Richmond and is a graduate in Engineering from NC State University. He has studied at Brookings Institute, and the Darden School at University of Virginia.
