Based in Richmond, he represents Verizon throughout Virginia, assisting and supporting state, regional and local economic development organizations in their efforts to grow business within their respective jurisdictions.

Prior to his current position, Jeff handled a variety of responsibilities at Verizon and its predecessor Bell Atlantic. Those responsibilities included state & federal regulatory relations, corporate accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting and analysis.

Jeff, a Virginia Tech graduate with a bachelor's degree in finance, has been with Verizon since 1985, beginning his career in Richmond as a financial analyst.

He currently serves on the Economic Development Committee of the Virginia State Chamber of Commerce, the Finance Committee of the Virginia Economic Developers Association, the Networked Future Task Force on Virginia's Eastern Shore, and the Task Force on Enabling Economic Growth through Infrastructure Development of the Southwest Virginia Economic Development Commission. Jeff is a long time Management Team member for the Virginia Special Olympics Summer Games, and a member of the Virginia Telephone Pioneers Association.

Jeff resides in Glen Allen, and is married with two middle school-aged daughters.
