Economic Bridge, Inc. is dedicated to preparing Southwestern
Virginia for a technology-based economy. The first step of
connectiveness is an assessment of your resources.
The Regional
GIS Technology Infrastructure Project identifies and documents
full fiber and network access points for all communication
carriers and applicable utility companies, determines what
is needed for the growth and development of technology-based
industry and finds ways to get infrastructure needs met
throughout PDC's 1-5. The end product will be a "map"
of existing fiber and technology infrastructure that can
be utilized as a tool for attracting new technology-based
companies, and a resource for the expansion and/or relocation
of existing businesses in the region.
